Mothers Memorial

This offering is collected on Mother's Day.  Monies given to this offering are turned into the Connecticut District Ladies Ministries Department.  Half remains in the district to be used to fund the various functions of the Ladies Minsitries and to help meet various needs in the Connecticut District.   Half is sent to the UPCI Ladies Ministries and is dividied among the various divisions.   Money given to the Foreign Missions Division is used to provide washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, and air conditioners to our foreign missionaries; to help fund Foreign Missions radio broadcasts; and to provide Foreign Bible School assistance.   Funds given to the Home Missions Division is used for home missionary family emergency assistance and to provide tracts and Bible study materials to Home Missions churches.   Money given to the Media Missions Division is used to help defray the expenses of broadcasting its radio program through selected stations throughout the United States.   The Division of Education uses the funds received to sponsor a Bible School Seminar for the staffs of UPCI Bible Schools.   To meet some of their special financial needs, money is also given to Lighthouse Ranch, a home for troubled boys; Tupelo Children's Mansion and Haven of Hope, residential childcare facilities; New Beginnings, a maternity care center for young women in need and a child placement service; and Spirit of Freedom Ministries, an outreach program for victims and families of drug and alcohol abuse.   The Urshan Graduate School of Theology and the World Network of Prayer are also recipients of these funds.

Special Offering Projects

Tupelo Children's Mansion

Each month, as a basic budget sponsor, the Ladies Ministries of The Apostolic Church of Enfield sends a $10.00 offering to Tupelo Children's Mansion  which is a residential childcare facility that provides family unit and individual care, as well as services for children with emotional problems.   The Home is available to children whose relationship with their parents and whose family situation, level of development, and social or emotional problems are such that placement at TCM is determined to be the most appropriate service for them.   Children in need, regardless of race, color, or religious background are accepted at TCM for love, care, and nurture.   To children who are hurting due to abandonment, abuse, and neglect by parents and families, TCM extends the loving hand of Jesus Christ, providing them the opportunity to grow spiritually, intellectually, physically, and emotionally.   It is endorsed by the United Pentecostal Church International and is governed by a Board of Directors.
